Brief biography: Ancong Wu received Ph.D. degree in information and communication engineering from Sun Yat-sen University in 2020 (advisors: Prof. Jianhuang Lai and Prof. Wei-Shi Zheng). He is a recipient of the CSIG Outstanding Ph.D. Thesis Award (中国图像图形学学会优博论文奖), Postdoctoral Innovation Talents Support Program (博新计划) and Baidu 2021 Global Top 100 Chinese Rising Stars in AI (2021年百度全球AI华人新星百强).

(2) 3D/4D scene understanding and generation

(3) Robot vision and embodied AI

最近研究方向以3D视觉与机器人为主,可为每个同学提供足够支撑研究任务的算力。

研究生招生:每年招收1名学硕和2名专硕。培养安排会兼顾科研与找工作的时间。科研以发表视觉与机器人领域顶级会议和期刊为目标。我会与你一起制定与调整详细的研究计划与技术路线,争取在研二上学期完成毕业所需的大部分工作。希望在科研中积累的思维、方法、工具和文字表达能力也能在就业中帮到你。

本科生科研实践:本科生培养以实践与积累动手经验为主,鼓励申报大创项目、参加AI竞赛、参与科研项目。目标是完成一个完整的项目,可作为毕设的一部分工作。我会与研究生团队一起定期为同学提供指导。如果你有自己的想法,也可以一起探讨前沿的研究发表论文。
